Getting back to the topic of yesterday, our brains are changed when we fall in love, releasing large amounts of hormones that play a key role in giving us the sense of falling in love. A hormone that is released in our brain that makes us want more and more of that person is Dopamine. this hormone is key in falling in love because it "stimulates ‘desire and reward’" (Arun,Arthur) this hormone is almost as a reward system, the more we see them the higher our dopamine levels get, and this is because we get a sense of reward for seeing the person and this is why we can't get enough of them. this is why dopamine "has the same effect on the brain as taking cocaine! "(Arun,Arthur)
